7ème Fête du car en Ardèche (7th Coach Meeting at Ardèche, France)
Last July 9th took place the 7th edition of la Fête du Car in Vanosc. This year the starting point was the town of Serrières, by the Rhone river, which offered a beatiful landscape. From that point buses and coaches went to Annonay and Vanosc, where a bus driving skills contest would take place after dinner. We offer now a short photo gallery of the event.
Click here for a review of the participants.
- The vehicles were exhibited by the Rhone
- Regional dances and music to enhance the event
- Well known Gérard Pellissier’s Rochet Schneider was present. Our associate Sergio R. chose it for a ride to Vanosc
- ARCA’s associates were invited to climb on an Isobloc or Standard 216 FR1. We are grateful for that, but our preferences focused on Mr. Proudhon’s Chausson!
- Mr. Christian took us this time to Vanosc, starting a fight with a rebellious second-gear of the Renonding gearbox
- Saviem’s meeting in Vanosc
- When we revisited Joseph Besset’s collection we found a new coach arrived in 2013: a 1957 Chausson APH 2.522 belonging to the Delaye family
- Special mention deserves the “Orgalion”, a mobile juke-box mounted on a Renault Gallion truck, and which is present in every classic car Rally
