Works: Mr. Morgado, our temporary carpenter, went on completing the woodwork under the window area while showing us how to curve laths without breaking them. The kick-starter, difficult to reach with tools, was both dismantled and checked to see that no failure was present. It was fitted again and used to start the engine. A new rivet machine has been acquired and used to fix a loose moulding on the Savita.
